We have source the world for natural and organic ingredients and purchased from Asia, America, Australia, Europe, etc, and where possible, purchase from FAIR TRADE producers in underdeveloped communities and farmers. We also source all ingredients and packaging materials from companies that respect the world around us. This conscious decision has determined all our packaging, where possible is able to recycle and reuse again. What's Not in KAY-KAY™ At KAY-KAY™, we believe that our world can provide all of us with all the superfood our body needs. That's why we use only the highest grade, plant-based superfood in our products and we believe that through the rigorous certification process of our appointed manufacturing plant and approved formulas, together with random audits, we can offer a true piece-of-mind superfood product from mother earth. We believe we can do away with food additives that are added to change food in some way before it is consumed. Additives include preservatives for extending shelf life, artificial flavoring and coloring for improving taste and appearance, and enhancing the smell. |

Natural & Organic Plant Ingredients - impacts positively on the environment. Natural & Organic farming manages soil and water quality and is energy efficient whilst promoting health of farmers, including children working on the land and biodiversity. Sourcing both natural and organic ingredients encourages more sustainable farming practices. Product Packaging - All cardboard boxes are made from recycled board. Most products in the KAY-KAY™ Product Range are packed in these boxes. KAY-KAY™ range uses recyclable HDPE Plastic packaging. This ensures all our bottle can be recycle and used again contributing to a sustainable environment. Packing for Shipping – KAY-KAY™ use and reuse recyclable cardboard boxes and packaging with discarded paper shreds based packing when shipping to customers or stockists. Warehouse Recycling - Any cardboard that cannot be reused is placed in a designated bin where the community have access to take it for packing, moving boxes, etc Mindfully Sourcing Ingredients – KAY-KAY™ research the origin and impact of the raw ingredients used to ensure that these are not negatively impacting on the environment. For example, KAY-KAY™ uses yellow Pea vegetable powders that uses a patented pure water process that is traceability, short supply chain, no use of nitrogen fertilizers, no need of irrigation system, no use of chemical solvents, only pure water. Against Animal Testing : Be it a dog, cat or mice , KAY-KAY™ is against animal testing and we certainly do not use any ingredients that are animal derived. We only test all of our products on humans only with great success! If it ain't good on our body, it aint good for anything. Mindful eating : To produce one pound of animal protein vs. one pound of soy protein, it takes about 12 times as much land, 13 times as much fossil fuel, and 15 times as much water. |

In Conclusion : Why is meat and dairy so bad for the environment?
The production of meat and other animal products places a heavy burden on the environment - from crops and water required to feed the animals, to the transport and other processes involved from farm to fork. The vast amount of grain feed required for meat production is a significant contributor to deforestation, habitat loss and species extinction. In Brazil alone, the equivalent of 5.6 million acres of land is used to grow soya beans for animals in Europe. This land contributes to developing world malnutrition by driving impoverished populations to grow cash crops for animal feed, rather than food for themselves. On the other hand, considerably lower quantities of crops and water are required to sustain a vegan diet, making the switch to veganism one of the easiest, most enjoyable and most effective ways to reduce our impact on the environment. |
